Facebook has been great for keeping everyone informed of our upcoming events, but due to some changes in how Facebook works, it is becoming harder to reach people with our messages.  Lots of other groups use Meetup.com to organise events and we are considering setting up an account with them too.

Meetup works a bit like Facebook, in that it is free to use, you each have your own login and can RSVP to events.  The difference is we can let you know directly about events and you can also pay online to secure your spot.  You can adjust your email settings so that you only get Meetup emails when you want to.
