Restaurants

There are several restaurants in Whistler where you can find plant-based dishes, even if they don’t have anything listed on the menu. We are currently working with local restaurants to produce a comprehensive list of options, but until then please use the following as a guide.

Please note that we can not guarantee that restaurants are offering strictly plant-based food. Few restaurants label their dishes and the servers may or may not be aware of ingredients.  It is recommneded that if you are strict with your diet you call the restaurant a day or two in advance to ensure your needs can be met.

More restaurants to be added soon. If you eat at a restaurant that is not listed below please feel free to send us a review!

  1. What a fantastic resource list. Just to note, Nagomi has a wide variety of vegetarian rolls, robata and appetizers and even offers the Alpine Roll which has smoked tofu and sundried tomato in it!

  2. Hi,

Thanks for this list, it’s very helpful. Here are some updates for you: Alta Bistro said they no longer do vegan specials on Mondays, they will do them on request any day of the week now. FYI their vegan food is composed of only vegetables, they don’t use tofu. Roundhouse has vegan options clearly labelled, when I went they were chili, mexican corn chowder, and a veggie burger. GLC has a vegan veggie burger. Black’s restaurant said their veg pizza with no cheese is vegan, and they put daiya on it for me, which I had brought. The pizza was really good! Neither location of Starbucks in the village had the vegan noodle box. Ric’s Grill said on the phone that their only vegan options on request (none on the menu) would be tomato pasta or salad.
